United Grinding demonstrated for the first time Studio S131 Universal internal grinding machine with radius dressing function and radius grinding function.

With its eight company brands United Grinding offers a broad application knowledge, an extensive product portfolio and a complete array of services for surface and profile grinding, cylindrical grinding and tool machining. The eight company brands include: MÄGERLE, SCHAUDT, BLOHM, MIKROSA, JUNG,  WALTER, STUDER, and EWAG.

STUDER is expanding its product portfolio and bringing a new machine series to the market – the favorit. With centre distances of 400, 650, 1000 and 1600 mm, the favorit line is suitable for short to long workpieces and can be used universally. This CNC universal cylindrical grinding machine is designed for grinding in individual and batch production and can be automated. It can subsequently be easily adapted to other grind-ing tasks using various accessory kits such as in-process gauging, balancing system, contact detection and length positioning.

The new Profile Line from EWAG is a solution for flexible machining of indexable carbide inserts. The machine is built in close partnership with sister company Walter Maschinenbau GmbH and enhanced with Ewag AG’s tooling/software expertise. This partnership has produced an efficient grinding centre for advanced grinding of highly complex interchangeable insert geometries, including interfaces.
