Jyoti CNC had announced earlier that they would be bringing the most versatile and economically sleek machines to IMTEX 2019. The company did exactly that. With 28 machines in four different clusters, Jyoti presented their equipment in the most strategic way possible. These machines included entry-level products, new NUV products, high-end multitasking machines, and milling machines. The first cluster had the entry-level machines, new products, high-end multitasking machines, and other drilling machines. The tech-end cluster 7 to 8 machines consisted of NVU series bearing majorly the VMC machines. The third cluster had high-end machines that have intensely specific applications such as aerospace and defense. The fourth cluster consisted of machines from Huron, a subsidiary of Jyoti in France. Jyoti displayed three models to exhibit at IMTEX from Huron.
There was also an outstanding cluster of fast drill tap centres called “Tachyon”.
Jyoti had picked a theme, which was tech-end cluster where they showcased high-speed Robodrill machines and a series of machines other high-end multitasking machines.
The company also featured first-of-its-kind Artificial Intelligence (AI) in machine tools coming up with 7th sense enabled software technology.
Jyoti wants the AI-enabled machines to see the light of day and expected the platform to be the key to success for the new technology. As a company, Jyoti wanted to use the opportunity at IMTEX to know the customers better and come closer to understanding their requirements. Considering that IMTEX sees footfalls from mainly Southern customers, Jyoti expects these companies to help them penetrate into a new market altogether.
“We always have looked at technology as a driver for the industry, be it for the SMEs or MSMEs. That is the reason we offer products that give value for money and do not compromise on quality as well as features. Typically, we take 6-12 months to launch a new product. There’s also a need to consider the demands of the various sectors and this lead time could take anywhere between 8-9 months, says Shaparia.
