Renishaw
Renishaw demonstrated its range of smart factory process control solutions, which are proven to help machine shops across many industries transform their production capabilities. Renishaw’s product portfolio supports the full spectrum of industrial metrology applications, delivering benefits in speed, ease-of-use, and flexibility, which help manufacturers integrate smart factory technologies into their existing operations.
The company demonstrated its intelligent process control for larger parts, by exhibiting the Equator 500. The new, larger system enables the accurate gauging of larger parts due to a working volume of 500mm in diameter and up to 400mm in height, increasing the flexibility and range of applications for the Equator system. Accurate between 5ºC and 50ºC at any rate of temperature change, the system can achieve scanning speeds above 200mm/s.
Renishaw also had a separate AM stand, where it exhibited the four-laser RenAM 500Q. The machine improves productivity, speeding up the process by up to four times in commonly used platform size. Renishaw also demonstrated its software for metal AM, including QuantAM build preparation software, remote process monitoring application, InfiniAM Central, and the InfiniAM Spectral application for the live feedback on energy input and emissions.
Renishaw’s new ultra-compact radio probe, RMP400 made its debut in India. Perfect for small 5-axis machine tools, particularly in die & mould and aerospace, the strain-gauge probe gives a reliable touch-trigger solution for part setting, feature measurement and machine performance checking.
