HCCB has made significant investments in new supply-chain technologies such as automatic loading solutions, IoT enabled yard management solutions, exploring machine deep learning and AI in manufacturing. It is one of the few organisations to use Automated Storage and Retrieval System at one of its warehouse at Goblej,Gujarat. In many ways ASRS is a revolutionary step in its value chain of logistics management because this not only manages bulk pallet-in pallet-out operation but also manages mixed pallet making, to make supply chain nimble.

Besides, it has deployed Distribution Management System – a transformational set-up, which links the company’s sales and distribution setup – encompassing primary distribution from its manufacturing locations – to its 3000+ distributors and sub-distributors. The DMS helps the sales team monitor the order target fulfilment status online and take mid-course corrective steps, if required. Besides, the company gets real time visibility of 95% of its  business at an outlet level. It’s happy to declare that all its factories are water positive. Some 40% of its energy requirements are met through renewable
sources. More than 95% of ingredients are procured locally and all its factories have with ETPs. It uses 100% recyclable material for packaging of products.

One big contributions is the adoption of PET bottle which is light weight, resaleable and above all 100% recyclable. It has partnered with UNDP and NGOs for plastic waste collection programmes in 50 cities. The programme aims to create an end-to-end recycling ecosystem.
