Our key customers are the Automotive OEM’s and they work on ‘Just in time concept’. Therefore, our Supply Chain has also been aligned with this requirement and the effort is to achieve ‘Just in time’ supplies from our suppliers and eliminate all inventory levels in the company. Our manufacturing process is aligned with the Toyota Production System and works on pattern system & small lot production.
The company’s policy is to purchase and use only materials, which are environment friendly and comply with the Green Purchasing guidelines of all the
customers.
For outbound logistics, we are encouraging our suppliers to use CNG trucks instead of Diesel engine trucks. Today, the biggest innovation taking
place in the area of supply chain is digitisation and use of RFID/Barcode technology to manage materials. In line with this, we are in the process of implementing seamless solutions for material management as part of our Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Additionally, concepts like “Milk Run” are also being implemented to reduce inventory levels and reduce transportation costs of these materials.
In order to optimise our outbound logistics, we are now implementing virtual truck solutions along with tracking solutions. This helps us know accurate
location of each part being delivered to the customer. Going forward, our target is to improve overall efficiency and for that we have charted out “Gati se Pragati” as our motto.
