Jake Farragher, GM – Asia, ANCA CNC Machines had brought three new machines to introduce at the IMTEX 23; The MX7 Ultra, the FX5E and the CPX Linear.
The MX7 Ultra, a machine that manufactures large volumes of end mills and other cutting tools of high accuracy and quality, comes with a new nano-metric control system. This control system allows the machine to answer to one nanometer’s accuracy and produces a very accurate tool with a highly superior surface finish.
The FX5E, an entry-level machine ideal for customers who, for the first time, were shifting from manual shop floor to CNC machines, is a good stepping stone to intelligent machines.
The CPX Linear, a blank grinder machine for blank preparation, was displayed. It can deliver a surface finish of better than 0.2Ra with a run of less than 2 microns.
Most machine shops look for high-performance, high-quality tools to speedily remove metal while maintaining accuracy and giving long tool life. This way, the cycle time is saved, machining cost is reduced, and better profits are achieved. ANCA, said Farragher, through its innovative solutions like the high-speed, high-accuracy nano metric MX7 Ultra; the first step away from manual machining with FX5E, and the highest productivity in blank preparation with CPX Linear answers to those exact customer needs.
ANCA is a company that is always ahead in technology and is expected to come up with solutions to whatever the customer needs. “We keep developing innovative products to be in front of the market,” said Farragher.
Giving his perspective on business opportunities, Farragher was very optimistic. “I think the industry in India is evolving rapidly, and these tools will be coming in for more demands.” He said that the company has had consistent growth year-on-year. Last FYG, they had record growth and are expected to break that record this year too.
Looking at the industry at large, he said he had been involved with India since 2000 and was impressed by the changes taking place.
“The Indian market has changed over these twenty years, and the change in the recent years has been at break-neck speed.” He said he found the Indian market to be more resilient than the markets in other regions and found the growth in the machine tool industry taking place across all the sectors.
