VE Commercial Vehicles, a joint venture between Eicher Motors and the Volvo Group, sold 6567 units in April 2023, an 18.9% increase from the previous year. Of these, 6399 units were from Eicher’s brand, while 168 were from Volvo’s brand.
Eicher’s domestic truck and bus sales grew by 28.9% to 6142 units, while exports fell by 60.5% to 257 units. Meanwhile, Volvo’s trucks and buses saw a 54.1% increase to 168 units. The company’s strong performance in April 2023 demonstrates the continued success of its joint venture and brand offerings.
