Sterlite Power has launched two innovative technologies, the 96 Fiber OPGW and the ACCC ULS Brahmaputra High Performance Conductor, at ELECRAMA 2023. These solutions were developed to provide efficient, secure, and reliable power transmission, and will help with the digitization of the transmission sector while reducing transmission losses.

The 96 Fiber OPGW is a high fiber count optical ground wire that will help bolster India’s power transmission infrastructure. The technology offers greater bandwidth and faster data transfer rates, which is especially important in India, the world’s fastest-growing market for digital technologies and services.

The ACCC ULS Brahmaputra High Performance Conductor is a first-of-its-kind high-performance conductor that has been developed to overcome limitations associated with critical river crossings, such as the River Brahmaputra in India. Sterlite Power has a portfolio of 30 projects in India and Brazil, and the company is committed to sustainable development and improving access to electricity in remote and underserved areas of the country.
