RSB Transmissions inaugurates its 13th plant in Andhra Pradesh

The propeller shaft manufacturing facility in Sri City will cater to the future requirements of its customers.

RSB Transmissions (I) Ltd has expanded its footprint in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, with inauguration of the 13th state-of-art modern plant, matching  global standards, to manufacture propeller shaft assembly and cater to the future requirements of its customers.

According to R K Behera, Chairman, RSB Group, the company has a lion’s share in the propeller shaft market with high end excellence in quality and ruggedness, meeting global standards.  The 13th plant is the outcome of trust and confidence reposed on them by global giants for SCV/M&HCV segments.

According to M Sankaranaryanan, Executive Director, Operations, RSB Group, the company is proactively offering upgraded products through its continuous research and development. 

Nishit Behera, Executive Director, Business Development & Strategy, RSB Group, adds that the state-of-art plant will meet stringent quality requirements of Izuzu Motors, it will also cater to other customers in South India and will be in sprawling area of 1.3 lakh sq ft area with green backdrop and future expansion and state-of-art facilities housed in 64,000 sq feet with high end facilities. As per Rajnikant Behera, Executive Director, Group Finance, RSB Group, the plant will help boost the company’s pan India and global presence as a leading industrial institution in the auto segment.

The manufacturing facility was inaugurated jointly by Rajesh Mittal, President IEBCI & Deputy President Isuzu Motors India, Naohiro Mukaida, Vice President, Purchasing HQ, Isuzu Motors and Jagadish Hegde, Senior Vice President & Director, IEBCI. Rajesh Mittal has expressed satisfaction in selecting RSB as a partner in their progress.
