Rajan Amba is the new MD at Jaguar Land Rover India

Will succeed Rohit Suri, who is due to retire on March 31

Rajan Amba will take over as Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) from March 1, 2023, succeeding Rohit Suri, who is retiring on March 31. Currently Vice-President of Sales, Marketing and Customer Care at Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, Amba is excited about joining JLR, an iconic automotive brand that he admires, and is looking forward to working with his new team and steering the company’s future growth strategy.

According to Martin Limpert, Regional Director, Overseas, Jaguar Land Rover, Amba’s customer-centric mindset, broad industry experience, and passionate and authentic leadership approach make him the right choice to lead JLR’s operations into the future. The appointment is in line with JLR’s Reimagine strategy to become the creator of the world’s most desirable luxury vehicles and services for discerning customers.
