As per CRISIL, The data centres are emerging as an attractive infrastructure asset class in India. The industry is expected to add almost 850-900 MW capacity during fiscals 2023-25. With such exponential growth in India, this year,  BPE is now expanding and strengthening  its Data Centre Business Solutions in India.

In conversation with Amitansu Satpathy who started Best Power Solutions, to know more about BPE.

Please tell us about the journey of Best Power Equipments India Pvt. Ltd.
BPE provides cost-effective and reliable power solutions to its customers across domestic and international markets. We are the largest supplier of high-quality UPS supplying to OEM’s, end customers, system integrators, distributors and channel partners. Established in 2000, BPE has expanded its power solutions across various industries in the past two decades, from IT, Industrial, Health care, and Telecom to Data centers and many others. Headquartered in Noida for over 22 years, BPE effectively penetrated markets in Singapore, the Philippines, UAE, Turkey, Malaysia and other countries. The event celebrated the journey of BPE over the years and the award ceremony was held to recognize everyone’s contribution to this journey.

What is the growth and market of Data Center Solutions in India?
With the growth of digitization across all sectors and sub-sectors of the Indian economy, the data center market is on a fast lane with rapid growth and currently has a massive market size of USD 10.09 billion (appx.) and is forecasted to grow at a CAGR of 15.07% from FY2022 to FY2027. The key industries wherein data center plays a vital role are an Infrastructure, IT infrastructure, Electrical Infrastructure, Mechanical Infrastructure, Cooling Systems, General Construction, Tier Standard, and Geography.

What are the products and services you offer?
Our product offerings include Line Interactive UPS, Single Phase Online UPS, Three Phase Online UPS, Modular/Rack Mount UPS, String Grid-Tied PV Inverter, Central Grid-Tied PV Inverter, Intelligent PV Combiner Box, DC Power Distribution Cabinet, Monitoring system, Energy storage systems (single-phase and three-phase) and complete power solutions including data centers.

There is an increasing demand for Data centers in various sectors. Comment.
Enterprise applications have caused a sudden spike in demand for data center solutions; specifically in business areas such as:

  • Customer relationship management (CRM)
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
  • Supply chain management (SCM)
  • Sales force automation (SFA)
  • Order processing
  • E-commerce.

What are the current trends in the particular industry?
In the coming years, the industry will be inclined towards trends such as Security, Energy Management, Power outages, and Power disruptions. These will also play a pivotal role in the industry’s growth towards more sustainable and reliable machinery.

BPE is now expanding and strengthening its Data Centre Business Solutions in India. Could you tell us more about this expansion?

  1. With Head Office at Noida., INDIA, BPE expanded across India with 12 Branch Offices & 7 warehousing facilities across the Country.
  2. Three factories, 20000 Square feet of Manufacturing /testing facility in Noida and Greater Noida
  3. Own R&D and technical team, enabling the most competitive prices, with all international certificates to prove quality aspects, for the entire UPS range of products, a wide range of solar solutions, energy-efficient inverters, and datacentres solutions.
  4. Regional Office was set in Singapore.
  5. Exports started to Malaysia, Nepal, Bangladesh, Philippines, UAE, Kenya, various African Countries, Turkey and Australia.

What are the future plans for BPE?
We are going to expand our manufacturing capacity to cater to the demands of more clients with varied requirements. We will also expand our R&D section internally to encourage more innovations and make new product developments in Data centre segments, energy storage solutions, and lithium-ion solutions.

The pandemic taught us the value of collaboration. Has BPE invested in partnering with organizations and academia?
We have supplied our power solutions to various corporations and organizations from different industries during the pandemic. We will continue to do the same.
