CASE Construction Equipment, a brand of CNH Industrial, has launched a new CSR initiative in India called LEAD (Livelihood & Entrepreneurship Awareness Development) to promote entrepreneurship among rural youth. The LEAD project will provide awareness and training programs to generate subsidiary income in agriculture and infrastructure sectors. The brand aims to impact over 30,000 young people across 3000 villages in the first year. The project is planned to run until 2024 and will focus on local entrepreneurship ventures, such as poultry, dairy, bee farming, fisheries, road construction, and irrigation.

CASE is committed to supporting the development of rural entrepreneurship in India and finding innovative solutions to the challenges faced by these communities, such as unemployment and economic disparity. With the support of local partners and stakeholders, the project will promote inclusive economic growth and encourage reverse migration from urban to rural areas. The company’s Managing Director, Sunil Puri, believes that rural entrepreneurship is a crucial driver of India’s economic progress and aims to provide necessary tools and resources to local communities to become self-reliant.
