Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer OnePlus plans to explore new manufacturing investments in India for its handset brand and product offerings. Navnit Nakra, CEO of OnePlus India, said India is one of its biggest markets worldwide and the Chinese handset maker is committed to a long-term sustainable growth path.
OnePlus is the manufacturer of flagship devices in India and a producer of mid-premium smartphones and smart TVs. The company has expanded into IT peripherals segment including monitors and further plans to launch keyboards.
The firm had previously announced an investment of Rs 1,000 crore to expand its India R&D centre and Rs 100 crore towards offline expansion.
