Nupur Recyclers strives to address India’s growing e-waste problem

Recycling company Nupur looking to acquire e-waste management company for deployment of sustainable technologies

Rajesh Gupta, Founder, Nupur Recyclers

Nupur Recyclers, a market leader in metal scrap processing and recycling, is looking forward to addressing the country’s growing e-waste problem. The company has played a key role in bringing order to the highly fragmented recycling sector. It is now looking to acquire / partner with an e-waste management company in India to deploy sustainable technology and investments to help reduce the carbon footprint of old electronic devices.
Nupur Recyclers is already working with Go Green Enviro, an ESG consultancy firm to achieve net-zero emission. The company already has strength in recycling and this will be coupled with the robust capabilities of the e-waste management/recycling company. It will help accelerate the journey towards zero waste.
Rajesh Gupta, Founder, Nupur Recyclers, said, “E-waste poses a threat to humans, animals, and the environment. Heavy metals and highly poisonous chemicals such as mercury, lead, beryllium, and cadmium pose a significant environmental threat even in trace amounts. While consumers must be aware that buying new electronics and simply discarding old appliances rather than refurbishing or recycling them can cause serious environmental harm, it is also imperative that we build mechanisms that can effectively help dispose of and recycle e-waste. With our strategic investment, we are certain to move closer to our goal of delivering a one-stop solution for all e-waste recycling needs.”
As environmental concerns grow, people become more aware of the environment and climate change. Efforts in this direction today can overcome the mounting challenge of e-waste shortly.
