Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister unveils the statue of the legendary Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayuly in New Delhi

A High-powered meeting between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Adani Group was held.

Deputy Prime Minister & Minister for Trade, Republic of Kazakhstan, unveiled the statue of the legendary Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayuly as part of his visit to India. The inauguration ceremony organised earlier was attended by Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture of India, Government of India and the heads of diplomatic missions in India. On this occasion, Dr Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan presented a memento in honour of Abai Kunanbayuly to the Kazakhstan Deputy prime minister H.E.Bakhyt Sultanov. The Deputy Prime Minister’s visit was focused on the development of trade and strengthening bilateral relations between India and Kazakhstan.

A High-powered meeting between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Adani Group was held. Adani Group Representatives led by Mr Karan Adani, CEO, Adani group, Sudipta Bhattacharya, CEO, Adan group – North America and CTO and Shubham, Adani group; called on H.E.Bakhyt Sultanov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan; the senior Official Delegation accompanying him and H.E. Nurlan Zhalgasbayaev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in India, Consul of Kazakhstan for Telangana and AP, Dr Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan attended the meeting. The discussions with Adani Group focussed on collaborations in the areas of non-conventional energy, airports, infrastructure and mining. The delegation is also working on developing bilateral trade and commerce with India in areas of education, information technology, and healthcare.

Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan hosted a dinner in honour of the visiting Deputy Prime Minister and his delegation in New Delhi.

The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hyderabad is extending comprehensive support to the Embassy of Kazakhstan in facilitating these collaborations. To give further impetus to the bilateral trade between both the countries, H.E. Dr Nawab Nasir Ali Khan will soon organise a bilateral summit between companies in Kazakhstan and their Indian counterparts.
