New facility supports customers and employees in the APAC region with leading-edge technology

Evident announced the opening of its new Asia-Pacific (APAC) headquarters in Singapore, marking its ongoing commitment to expand its business and operations in the APAC region.

The headquarters leads Evident’s strategy, technology and innovation in the APAC region, which includes operations in Australia, New Zealand, India and Korea. The company has doubled its headcount in Singapore since the beginning of 2022. It plans to further expand its presence in APAC, with new job openings for its sales and marketing, service, technical, and research and development teams.

A world-leading manufacturer of life science and industrial microscopes, videoscopes for remote visual inspection, nondestructive testing (NDT) equipment, and X-ray fluorescence analyzers for elemental analysis, Evident plans to strengthen its core business for the next phase of growth with greater agility and adaptability.

We aim to become more agile by integrating smart technologies in our solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of our customers,” said Akio Hirohashi, chief strategy officer at Evident and head of Evident APAC and Evident China.

The new APAC headquarters is well-equipped to drive this growth. It features a Technology Center to expand NDT solutions with robotics, automation and system integration, a Microscopy Center with a range of microscopes, videoscopes, NDT equipment and X-ray analyzers, as well as a dedicated Service and Repair Center to provide world-class technical support for customers. Other highlights include an Omni Theater equipped with the latest audio and visual technology for an immersive experience, a studio with a green screen production setup for live-streaming, webinars, conferences and video production, and a mix of permanent work desks and hot desks offering employees the flexibility for hybrid work.
