Danfoss signed a cooperative agreement with Indian Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) to foster e-learning in the HVAC sector, at the RACON curtain-raiser. Danfoss’ focus is to provide easy and free access to technical education for HVAC professionals in the country. Towards this end, Danfoss offers a wide selection of HVAC-R training courses developed by industry experts on their online training platform. The event witnessed keynote addresses by eminent personalities such as Harshavardhan Neotia, chairman, Ambuja Group and Dr Katherine Williams, principal, Kath Williams and Associates, USA. Addressing the audience, Ravi Purushothaman, president, Danfoss India
said, “Being among the emerging economies, India needs a lot of energy to power its growth. From an industry perspective, Danfoss is trying to ensure that there is strong awareness on energy efficiency and the use of energy efficient products.” He further added, “Our e-learning collaboration with ISHRAE is part of Danfoss’ continuous efforts towards educating stakeholders about the HVAC industry and the importance of energy efficient technology in this sector today.”
