The international automotive supplier Brose has expanded its Indian operations in Pune with a new facility with a floor space of approximately 46,000 sq-ft. Inaddition to manufacturing, the new facilitywill house a laboratory for validationtesting to further support Brose’s domesticbusiness development.
The new location features a state- of- theart walk-in climate chamber. “Very few automotivesuppliers in India possess thistype of facility,” said Ashwani Aggarwal,president, Brose India. The bigger facilitywill help increase Brose’s range of locallymanufactured products and further enhancethe local value addition to productdevelopment. The production output is anticipated to reach 2.4 million units by 2015.
