Ashok Leyland, a Hinduja Group company, has partnered with Mumbai Indians as their Principal Partner for India’s Women’s T20 League. The partnership will see Ashok Leyland’s logo and name on the back of the team’s jersey. The two-year partnership will begin with this year’s edition until 2024.
Shenu Agarwal, Managing Director & CEO of Ashok Leyland, expressed pride in the partnership and stated that it aligns with the company’s brand philosophy of “Koi Manzil Door Nahin.” The partnership aims to showcase women who are breaking stereotypes and pursuing their dreams in the field of sports.
Mumbai Indians also welcomed the collaboration, stating that they are excited to work closely with Ashok Leyland to promote women’s cricket and engage with their global fanbase. The Women’s T20 League, which will host 20 league matches and two playoff games over 23 days, will start on March 4th, with the finals scheduled on March 26th at the Brabourne Stadium.
