AGEL crosses 1 GW wind generation capacity

The total operational renewable generation capacity of AEGL has increased to 8,216 MW.

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) achieves a green milestone as its subsidiary Adani Wind Energy Kutchh Five Limited (AWEK5L) commissions a 130 MW Wind Power Plant at Kutchh in Gujarat. The plant has a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) of 130 MW with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) at Rs. 2.83/kWh.

AEGL operational wind capacity now stands at 1,101 MW. Additionally, the total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 8,216 MW.

Adani Group’s intelligent ‘Energy Network Operation Centre’ (ENOC) platform will be managing the newly commissioned plant. Over the years, the platform has bolstered AGEL in achieving a superior operational performance of its entire renewable portfolio spread across diverse locations in India.

With this, AEGL will be able to accomplish its vision regarding the renewable portfolio and reach 45 GW capacity by 2030.
