Adani Group plans to invest Rs 60,000 crore in Madhya Pradesh to build mega food parks and six multi-modal logistics parks.
The company will develop mega food parks and six multi-modal logistics parks in Dhar, Guna, Damoh, Ujjain, and two in Indore.
The multi-modal parks will be built at a cost of Rs 5,250 crore. Currently, the group has investments of close to Rs 27,500 crore in sectors such as power generation and transmission, gas distribution, cement manufacturing and agro processing, among others, in the state.
The company also plans to establish three additional plants in Ametha, Dewas, and Bhopal. The total investment for three plants will be around Rs 3,500 crore, nearly tripling cement production in the state to 7.5 million tonnes per year. The project will help to reshape the economies of several districts in Madhya Pradesh.
