The Aurangabad Industrial City (AURIC) in Shendra Industrial City, Maharashtra, has secured an investment of Rs 160 crore from five companies on 23 January 2021.
Inox Air Products will invest Rs 135 crore and has The project will generate employment for 150 people been allotted five-acre land parcel in AURIC Shendra. The project will generate employment for 150 people.
Other four small companies will invest Rs 159.42 crore altogether. These five companies will create job opportunities for 250 people after being operational. The other small four investments are from hygiene, pharmaceutical and food processing.
The Land Allocation Committee (LAC) meet took place for 11 plots which received a response of 38 applications. Looking after the response for the plots from the MSME sector, Aurangabad Industrial Township (AITL), an SPV to implement AURIC project, is planning to open more plots for companies to apply.
