Oracle has opened its second data centre in Hyderabad, Telangana, on 29 June 2020.
The opening is part of Oracle’s global plans to operate 36 second generation Cloud regions by the end of 2020.
The move is expected to benefit large number of Indian SMBs looking to embark on their digital journey because of the pandemic and the need to work remotely.
This is the second data centre to be opened in the last six months after Mumbai, Maharashtra. This provides a great opportunity for SMB customers to leverage technology and the centre will help Indian firms better address disaster recovery and compliance.
SMBs are now relooking at their operational model and also at adopting digital tech promptly.
