Nippon Paint (India) (Decorative Division) has begun undertaking sanitizations efforts at all its depots and facilities across India, in an effort to mitigate the spread of the Covid-19. With this new measure, the company hopes to ensure all its paint products leave the depots free of any contamination, which could possibly affect the dealers or painters when handling them. All the paint products are dispatched affixing the sticker ‘Sanitised for your safety’.
All the products will now be sprayed with disinfectants and properly packaged before being transported, so as to safeguard the individuals handling them. With this move, Nippon Paint supports the government’s efforts to control the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak in India.
Talking about the company’s continued efforts, S Mahesh Anand, President – Nippon Paint (India) (Decorative Division) said, “We at Nippon Paint are taking all possible precautions to contain the spread of Covid-19 following all Government’s directives on the business operations post-lockdown. The decision to activate our sanitisation efforts within our manufacturing surroundings and packaged products is in sync with the efforts of the Health Ministry. These measures are necessary to ensure safety of all those who come in contact with the paint products. We are hopeful that these precautionary steps will ease disruptions when it comes to both free movement of goods, as well as warehousing and distribution challenges during this challenging time.”
