Amada India displayed three newly launches at its booth at IMTEX Forming 2020. Elaborating on them, Niraj Seth, president, Amada India said, “The ENSIS AJis is the 9 kW laser fiber machine. What makes us different from other laser machine manufacturers is our technology. The key feature of this machine is that the better control of beam with the help of beam modulation. As a result, cutting of thin or thick metal is possible on the same machine. The beam adjusts itself accordingly and hence offers better finish. We are highlighting auto calibration technology. This machine runs five times faster than other machines and is able to pierce 20-25 mm thickness in less than a second.”
Secondly we are displaying, LCG3015AJII. This machine is mainly for beginners and is meant for cutting the material thickness of 6–10mm. It is a well built machine and can proved to be a complete value for money product.
Thirdly, we are displaying is our software, which is IoT enable process control software. This helps in controlling entire shop load through this software at any given point of time. Speaking about it he proudly mentioned, “Amada is pioneer in factory digitalisation. We have been working in this area almost for a decade when we launched IoT enabled software. Now, we also have IoT enabled machines.”
Speaking about the competition from Chinese players, Seth says, “I look at it from a positive perspective. Mostly, beginners who do not want to take a big risk buy a fiber machines from them. So, I see such buyers as my potential customers. Once they get hands on experience with laser fiber machines and grow their businesses, they definitely look at upgrading their technologies and machines further.”
