Tyre manufacturer Bridgestone has announced that it will reveal its comprehensive new portfolio at the 68th annual International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt that will meet the future global mobility challenges.
As the company claims in a release, in response to CASE (Connected, Autonomous, Shared and Electric) and today’s global macro trends, Bridgestone will launch new products, technologies and mobility solutions that will cater to the needs of drivers, fleets, partners and OEMs.
At the IAA 2019, Bridgestone will showcase Bridgestone Connect, an edge predictive maintenance solution that uses embedded telematics dongle to monitor a vehicle’s key components, including tyres, brakes, battery, engine oil and default signals.
The system works in real-time and notifies many issues directly using a dedicated app.
Another mobility solution the company will showcase at the event is MOBOX, a monthly subscription service offering new tyres, full warranty and other premium vehicle-related services for an affordable price every month.
