XBUS manufacturer ElectricBrands strengthens its team

XBUS GmbH to become independent company focussed on development and production of XBUS and other vehicles

ElectricBrands are now taking their company to the next level with new structures and personnel.

Vehicle manufacturer ElectricBrands is bringing experienced figures from the automotive and finance sectors onto its team to push ahead on the path to electromobility with light vehicles like the XBUS. Their brief is to actively help to support the company not just operationally but also strategically and by leveraging their relevant connections. Furthermore, newly created structures and executive responsibilities aim to create a clear focus on the various tasks in product development, production, sales and finance.

ElectricBrands are now taking their company to the next level with new structures and personnel. Firstly, experienced figures from the automotive, finance and production sectors will be complementing the team around Founder Ralf Haller and CEO Martin Henne. Secondly, the split into ElectricBrands AG will make it possible for the newly founded XBUS GmbH to better focus on the core tasks of the two companies: production of the XBUS and sales alongside the development of further products for the overall portfolio.

Addition to the Supervisory Board
By enlisting new supervisory board chairman, Ulrich Walker – a former Daimler boss in China and Borgward CEO – founder Ralf Haller is bringing in a very experienced individual to head up the supervisory board. In future, Walker will be supported in his tasks by Kai Andersen and Mirko Konta, who hail from the fields of management consultancy and automotive development.

Expansion of the Board of Directors
ElectricBrands have also brought in new faces from the automotive and production sectors to join the top table. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Hans Lamprecht expands the team around CEO Martin Henne as a financial expert. In addition, Tom Anliker becomes the new Chief Marketing & Revenue Officer (CMRO). Working internationally for many years in their respective fields, both boast experience in auditing and brand building.

Clear orientation through new structures
But ElectricBrands are not only making personnel changes. Structural ones are also afoot. ElectricBrands AG Deutschland is established as a holding company while XBUS GmbH (formerly Emobs GmbH) will become an independent company. This allows XBUS GmbH to focus fully on the development and production of the XBUS and other light vehicles. The Swiss subsidiary of ElectricBrands will take over all sales functions worldwide. ElectricBrands Deutschland AG will focus on the overall corporate strategy, in addition to supplying further products in the mobility sector to meaningfully expand the overall portfolio for sustainable electric mobility.
