How can O4S improve supply chain management efficiency?
Today, most organizations across various industries use ERP for operational control within the organization. However, once the finished product enters the market there is minimum to zero visibility of the product movement in the market. O4S’s unique IoT-based multi-module solutions help organizations gain control over the product movement across the supply chain from the time they leave the manufacturing facility till they reach the end consumer. The company’s solutions are deployed on the cloud and easily integrate with the existing infrastructure thereby eliminating the requirement of any further capital expenditure.
O4S state-of-the-art solutions revolve around the concept of Serialization which assigns unique digital identities to every unit being manufactured enabling the organizations to track and trace each product. Moreover, the company’s advanced inventory management analytics solutions help organizations take critical business decisions by monitoring physical inventory position, stock movement, aging, and much more critical KPIs.
Please provide a synopsis of the O4S technologies that will usher in the next generation of manufacturing.
O4S’s solutions are built on product serialization powered by technologies such as Machine Learning (ML), and the IoT, among other technologies.
MARK (Manufacturing Automation Reconciliation Kit) is our core product which integrates O4S‘s cloud-based random UID generator with manufacturing industrial printers. This module is the basis of allocating a unique identity to a product, registering its multiple layers of Packaging BOM (bill of material), and recording all product manufacturing details.
Supplytics helps businesses track product movement right from when it leaves a manufacturing facility, across Carrying and Forwarding Agents, Distributors, across all channels till it reaches a retailer.
Gynger is O4S’ retailer and influencer engagement platform that engages retailers and influencers by incentivizing them to maximize sales of original products. An additional benefit of this integration is building a supply chain resistant to infiltration by counterfeit products via improved inventory visibility and seamless flow of information across the distribution channel. Increased visibility across secondary and tertiary sales is crucial for manufacturers to plan, manage and optimize supply chains by reducing losses due to wastage and maximizing the efficiency of available resources.
Original4Sure empowers consumers to verify their purchased products by scanning our highly secure UID via mobile phones through any open QR reader/Smartphone camera. This in turn increases brand loyalty, market share, and helps organizations gain higher brand protection from possible counterfeiters.
What is O4S’s expansion strategy and future goals for 2022?
With the product-market fit established, we’re aggressively looking to expand across new geographies such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand, among others. These countries hold tremendous potential for digitized and automated products. Further, we’re also looking to incorporate an office in the USA to partner with companies for compliance traceability across North and South America. We are also planning to raise the next series of funding i.e., Series-B by the end of 2022.
How did the pandemic affect supply chains, and how did O4S capitalize on this opportunity?
With the pandemic creating havoc across the globe, more and more companies have been forced to throttle down or temporarily shut manufacturing and assembly units. In order to reduce Supply chain costs, companies are having to pursue strategies such as lean manufacturing, offshoring, and outsourcing. With further globalization and integration of Supply Chains, risks such as this have far-reaching consequences. There needs to be a shift in the mindset to take into account risk management and ensure business continuity. Companies need to be able to monitor all aspects of their Supply chain right from manufacturing until the product reaches the hands of a consumer, this would help them get the complete picture. O4S has been helping its clientele get a high level of automation and digitization in their supply chain operations. O4S’s cloud-based solutions enable enterprises to achieve a transparency of supply chain processes across their manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and secondary sales.
What is the sustainable Supply chain of tomorrow?
By the word sustainable, we all understand sensible utilization of resources while keeping in consideration the need for the future. However, businesses wish to sustain their profitability or even elevate them as time passes and in order to do so, they have been implementing measures that help keep costs low, margins high, while increasing shareholders’ wealth. The trend is changing with customers becoming more aware of the importance of sustainable living and looking for socially awarded brands. Consequently, brands are compelled to focus on minimizing wastage of resources while also maintaining costs. This could only be possible with the use of tech to streamline operations and detect leaks (if there are any) in the supply chain.
Digitized Supply chains offer complete visibility around the movement of raw materials or finished products. Thus, allowing manufacturers to track production on a real-time basis and efficiently utilize their resources, manpower which will ultimately help them save costs. Future Supply Chains would be more tech-savvy, utilizing next-gen technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT) compatible with Industry 4.0.
