100 Plant heads of India’s leading manufacturing companies

Manufacturing Today celebrates its 5th Anniversary with this issue. And with each passing year, this issue is different from the previous year’s in countless ways — as even the briefest excursion through the copy will show. For the first time, we look at the Top 100 manufacturing companies and plant heads – companies that have carved their niche in the manufacturing
sector through innovations, best practices, and technology developments. Every company has a different success story to tell. Companies that have featured their plant head/operations head only prove that they believe in the spirit of transparency.
At a time when everyone speaks of transparency, it was these Top 100 that also walked the talk. And we appreciate their willingness to do so. While we have considered size and growth of the companies, other in-house qualitative parameters that matter are efficiency, leverage, quality of products/services offered, their ability to conduct a global business, and innovativeness. Almost all of the companies strongly ascribe manufacturing as their core value and have invested time and money to expand operations.
