The week-long event featured events, conferences, exhibits by eminent EV companies and India’s first Formula E race

The Hyderabad E-Mobility Week, organised by the Government of Telangana, aimed to highlight the growth of India’s EV ecosystem and saw a record turnout of over 35,000 participants and viewers. The event showcased new-age EVs, including electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and electric buses. The event’s highlight was the Formula E-race, which made Hyderabad the first city in India to host such a race.

The Telangana Mobility Valley (TMV) was unveiled at the Mobility Next summit, which will promote collaboration, R&D, and EV manufacturing to make Telangana a global EV destination. The state expects investments worth over Rs 50,000 crore and the creation of close to 4 lakh jobs by 2030 through this project.

During the event, the state also announced three MoUs with international organisations and held the grand finale of Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electric (C.A.S.E.) mobility, where i-elektrik from Gujarat won the challenge for their innovation in connected mobility. The event also saw the showcasing of next-gen EV models from leading automotive brands such as Citroen, Quantum Energy, and Hop Electric.

The week-long events featured business conferences, technical and knowledge-sharing sessions, fireside chats, and one-to-one business meetings with global and domestic EV companies. The event helped raise awareness among the general public about the advantages and technological advances in the EV space.

Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, ITE&C, and Industries, called the Hyderabad E-Mobility Week a grand success that showcased the state’s work in making it a global destination for EV investors.
