Reinventing the future of manufacturing

7th edition of Manufacturing Today’s Reinventing the Future presented by Aditya Birla Group is back and will focus on ideas that can make things in a changing world.

Manufacturing is a tool to improve living standards—from better and cheaper products to increased economic opportunities, lower unemployment and a better quality of life. Manufacturing can be a tool to support national development goals. But, manufacturing is no longer simply about making physical products. Changes in consumer demand, the nature of products, the economics of production and the economics of the supply chain have led to a fundamental shift in how companies do business.

Reinventing is key to manufacturing growth success.

Manufacturing Today’s Reinventing the Future competition endeavours to bring forth and recognise the innovative transformations that manufacturers have adapted. The innovative competition for the manufacturing fraternity is a five cities knowledge-based competition that provides a platform for manufacturing professionals to present the innovative ideas they have implemented in their organisation.

In its 7th year, the regional competition will be held at manufacturing hubs—Chennai, Indore, Raipur, Rudrapur and Vadodara.

The participants will present the innovations in any of the following categories; Technology, Quality Development, People Development, People Empowerment, Sustainability, safety and Cost Optimization. The case studies will be adjudged by a three-member Jury. The six winners in the regional competition will compete on the national level and will be felicitated at the 10th Edition of Manufacturing Today Conference and Awards on 22nd September 2022 at ITC Maratha in Mumbai.

The case studies showcase how the manufacturing sector has adapted because understanding the changes in manufacturing will enable economies to establish their capabilities to innovate and set new development opportunities. The link between a thriving manufacturing sector and economic growth is a direct and significant one—in fact, manufacturing has the largest multiplier effect of any economic sector.
Join us at Manufacturing Today as it celebrates the manufacturing sector’s excellence, innovation and convergence of skills.
