Jawa-Yezdi Motorcycles announces a service initiative for its Kommuniti members en-route Ladakh

The ‘Service is on us’ initiative will offer free service assistance to the riders on the way to Ladakh.

Jawa-Yezdi Motorcycles has just kickstarted a service initiative for its Kommuniti members planning to ride to Ladakh from across the country.

The ‘Service is on us’ initiative will provide free services to the riders en route to Ladakh spanning the major access routes to the region from key parts of the country.

Under this initiative, the service centres situated in major cities along the route will provide necessary service support to the riders. Labour charges for periodic service and running repairs will be complementary and free of charge. Riders can also avail a complimentary 26-point general check-up at Leh service station. The company will also station an expert technician at Leh, equipped with essential tools and spares. RSA policy holders will be eligible for enroute breakdown assistance as per the RSA policy guidelines, while the non-RSA policy holders will be able to do so on a paid basis.

The initiative aims to offer comprehensive service cover to riders setting out from almost every corner of the country merging in the NCR to take the two most popular routes to Ladakh; one via Chandigarh and Manali and other via Jammu, Srinagar and Kargil.

From Delhi, the riders can utilise the service centres situated in Noida, Ghaziabad & Gurgaon, moving on to Haryana – Faridabad, Ambala & Karnal, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh – Mandi, Punjab – Hoshiyarpur & Pathankot, J&K – Jammu & Srinagar.

Starting from Kolkata, West Bengal, the route passes through the states of Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi/NCR, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. The key service locations chosen strategically on this route will be Jharkhand – Dhanbad, Bihar – Arrah and Patna, Uttar Pradesh – Lucknow and Agra, while taking up the route mentioned above from Delhi onwards.

For riders coming in from Bangalore, Karnataka, the preferred route traverses the states of Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi/NCR, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. The service locations on this route would be Telangana – Hyderabad, Maharashtra – Nagpur, Madhya Pradesh – Gwalior and Bhopal, Uttar Pradesh – Jhansi and Agra.

The preferred route for Ladakh from Mumbai through the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi/NCR, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir will have the following service locations – Gujarat- Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara & Ahmedabad, Rajasthan – Udaipur, Ajmer and Jaipur.
