Mitutoyo Contracer CV-3200 series offers significantly increased productivity by combining fast traverse speeds, with many time saving and accuracy enhancing innovations. It dramatically increases drive speed (X axis: 80 mm/s, Z2 axis: 20 mm/s) that further reduces total measurement time. The machines feature a precision arc-scale built into the Z1 axis (detector). This allows the arc trajectory of the stylus tip to be read directly, thus minimising error. The series is equipped with an innovative detector arm that lowers work-piece interference while expanding the range in the Z1 (detector) axis. This is also equipped with collision auto-stop to assure measurement safety even during high-speed movement. In order to attain traverse linearity specification for an extended period of time the series has a few highly rigid ceramic guides that combine the characteristics of smallest secular change and remarkable resistance to abrasion. The CV-3200 series contour measuring systems include FORMTRACEPAK contour analysis software as standard.
