Sealed Air Launches R&D Centre In India

Sealed Air Corporation, a US$ 7.8 billion, Fortune 500 company, headquartered in Charlotte, is pleased to announce the launch of its R&D centre in India. The company is engaged in food safety and security, facility hygiene and product protection business. Sealed Air has approximately 24,000 employees who serve customers in 175 countries. The company is expected to boost its R & D head count by 50% in India. The R & D facility would be a centre for excellence for fabric and food care hygiene solutions. Sealed Air has also announced 5 patents for kitchen cleaning, fabric wash, semi- dry lubrication and bottle wash solution.
Sealed Air serves a range of end markets, including food and beverage processing, food service, retail, health care and industrial, commercial and consumer applications. The Company’s brands include Cryovac brand food packaging solutions, Bubble Wrap brand cushioning and Diversey cleaning and hygiene solutions, claim to enable a safer and less wasteful food supply chain, protect valuable goods shipped around the world, and improve health through clean environments.
