Schneider Electric, a leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, kicked off Innovation Summit India 2021 today. On first day of the virtual summit, the company brought together key policy makers, industry leaders, customers and partners who shared critical insights on the role of disruptive technology to accelerate digital transformation towards ‘building a sustainable and resilient future, with an AatmaNirbhar Bharat’.

A CEO panel discussion-Powering an Aatmanirbhar Bharat with Digital and Sustainability had industry stalwarts deliberating on this critical topic : The panel included Anil Chaudhry, CEO, Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd. Greater India Zone President, Naveen Munjal, MD, Hero Electric, Naresh Trehan, MD, Medanta Hospital and RS Sodhi, MD, Amul.
Opening the session, Anil Chaudhry said, “India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world and digital transformation would help India become a $5 trillion economy and achieve Aatmanirbhart. Digitisation is crucial in making India a manufacturing hub in order to realise the i4i and i4w dream. Furthermore, it is equally important to ensure that all our efforts are directed towards achieving growth with sustainability. At the event, Schneider Electric reiterated its commitment to the sustainability agenda and its complete alignment with Government of India’s long-term goal of reducing carbon emissions and creating a strong and self-reliant India.
During his keynote address on the theme ‘Marching towards a greener future and the need to unite for sustainability, Amitabh Kant highlighted the importance of leveraging AI, ML and IoT in driving sustainability. “I strongly believe that an all of industry approach that is driven by lean and clean technologies will not just allow us to champion sunrise areas of growth, leading to economic development and prosperity for all but would also make India a leader in climate change management effort. India’s brand should be a brand of green, a brand of high quality and one of high reliability,” he stated.
In its second India edition, the virtual event features a 3-D Innovation Hub, showcasing company’s rich portfolio of software, solutions and services including Schneider Electric’s next generation EcoStruxure architecture and platform that delivers IoT-enabled open and interoperable solutions across user segments.
