Salasar Techno Engineering Limited, among India’s leading multi-conglomerate in the engineering and infrastructure industry has recently bagged a new project worth Rs54.90 crore by ITI Bangalore. The project involves the construction of telecom towers across various locations in India to improve the communication network of defence forces.
As part of the newly received order, Salasar Techno will be responsible for constructing towers of different heights ranging from 30 M to 120 M. It further involves the design, supply, construction and commissioning of towers across various army bases.
Shashank Agarwal, MD, Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd said, “Receiving a project from ITI Bangalore having national importance is very special for us. The project syncs with our vision to contribute towards the development of national infrastructure. Being a part of Army Static Switched Communication Network (ASCON), the project will give a boost to the operations capability of defence forces.”
Salasar had participated in the tender floated by ITI Bangalore in 21st April’21. Based on the company’s experience and quotation provided, Salasar received the order to construct self-supporting towers. The execution of the project will start within the next two months and is estimated to be completed by 12 months from start.
The company has a rich experience of completing several renowned projects for national infrastructure development. It has successfully executed projects for UPPCL, HVPNL (Haryana), PTCUL (UK), HPPTCL (HP) and other government entities in the past few years.
