ANS Commerce shifts to a new, larger warehouse in the Delhi NCR

ANS Commerce, a full-stack e-commerce enablement startup, has shifted to a new, bigger warehouse in the Delhi NCR region to effectively cater to the growing demand of online shoppers.

The company said online shopping has skyrocketed over the past year and e-commerce players have certainly risen to the occasion to deliver seamless experiences to customers despite initial disruptions brought on by the pandemic.

Located in Gurugram, Haryana, the new warehouse has a slew of features and technological advancements for smooth functioning including separate docks for B2B & B2C orders, high strength rack for heavy items, a separate area with lockers for high-value ticket items, and a cold storage facility for perishable food products.

Moreover, it said the warehouse is also equipped with a FIFO racking system for FMCG products, an automated pick list, and separate processes for return management & refurbishment along with an assembly line for dispatch and automated visual QC at dispatch, thereby ensuring over 99.8% accuracy.

Nakul Singh, Co-Founder of ANS Commerce, said, “The past year was most certainly mesmerizing for us. While we did manage to serve more than 8000 order deliveries per day, our warehouses became fully utilized within six months. Taking this into consideration, we decided to move to a bigger warehouse with 3x the capacity of the previous one.”

He said all their existing clients running operations from Delhi including brands such as CEAT, Grand Pitstop, Piramal, GoMechanic, etc., will be moving to the new warehouse. Since it’s located in an easily accessible area, Singh said their clients will be able to utilize it without any hassles. “Currently, we are also looking to hire additional staff from our local partners and third-party agencies for both operational and managerial roles.”

The platform plans to expand the premises to 3x its present area in the coming months. Additionally, it will also be expanding its warehouses in Bangalore and Mumbai and venture into multiple new geographies while simultaneously working on automation tools to boost productivity.
