Vikas Bajaj appointed president of AIFI

AIFI (Association of Indian Forging Industry) has elected Vikas Bajaj as President for 2020-2022. He takes over from S Muralishankar. Yash Jinendra Munot has been appointed vice president. 

Bajaj will be responsible for strengthening the member base, driving strategic alliances and representing AIFI with various government bodies and other stakeholders. 

Bajaj is MD & CEO of Bajaj Motors and is also associated in the operations of Microtek Forgings. 

Yash Munot who started the forging business as a first generation entrepreneur in 2005, is currently the CEO at Varsha Forgings and Managing Director at KCTR Varsha Automotive.
