Ramco Cements inaugurates new grinding unit

Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik inaugurated Ramco Cements’ new cement grinding unit in the state on 8 October 2020.

The new cement grinding unit has been set up at a cost of Rs 710 crore. The project will create employment to 105 people and indirect employment to 800 to 1,000 people to the town of Haridaspur in Jajpur district.

The machinery has been imported from Germany which produces very less noise. The plant is equipped with modern machinery that consumes less power.

The plant is designed to be totally dust-free. All the bag filters in the plant are designed to ensure an emission level of less than 30 mg per cu mtr of vent gases.

The mill is equipped with energy-efficient motors and automatic packing machines capable of continuous operation and dispatch. The plant operates fully through automatic control.

Zero breakdown and maximum safety have been assured at the plant. It will have a green belt developed in more than 30 acre of land around the plant periphery.
