The expansion is aimed at strengthening the logistics infrastructure and network in Maharashtra with existing operations in Pune and Mumbai.

Porter has expanded into Nashik with its on-demand logistics services, using Tata Ace vehicles to ensure efficient goods movement. The company plans to introduce 3-wheelers and 2-wheelers in the coming months. Nashik’s strategic location, connectivity, and skilled workforce make it an important market for logistics and transportation, attracting businesses and SMEs. Porter’s entry into Nashik is expected to attract more capital investment and strengthen the state’s logistics infrastructure.

The company has invested Rs 5 million in marketing and onboarded 300 driver-partners, with plans to reach 3,000 by the end of the year. The expansion is expected to create direct and indirect employment for over 3,000 people and target 20,000 customers in the first year.

Manish Gupta, Vice President, Business Operations, Porter, has expressed that they recognise the great potential that Nashik has as a logistics hub in India as they continue to expand. According to Gupta, Nashik is more than just a market, as it holds immense significance in their journey of moving a billion dreams, one delivery at a time. Porter aims to develop itself as a one-stop logistics solution platform, providing efficient and affordable solutions to users across the state by including Nashik in their operations. Their goal is to create seamless intra city movement of goods, simplifying and making logistics hassle-free for everyone. Furthermore, they are committed to building a strong partner ecosystem in the region, supporting driver-partners by providing them with opportunities for fair and equitable earnings and growth. With this expansion, Porter looks forward to serving the people of Nashik and contributing to the growth of the city’s logistics sector.
