TVS Motor Company announced a 4% sales growth in April 2023, with sales increasing from 295,308 units in the same month last year to 306,224 units this year. The growth was primarily driven by the domestic two-wheeler segment, which registered a remarkable 29% growth with sales rising from 180,553 units to 232,956 units in April 2023.
While motorcycle sales increased by 10%, scooter sales recorded a 5% growth. The company’s electric scooter, TVS iQube, has successfully transitioned to AIS156 phase 2 and registered sales of 6,227 units in April 2023. The international business and three-wheeler segments, however, recorded a decline in sales.
