Tinplate Co. invests Rs 2,000 crore in Jharkhand. The expansion will add 3,00,000 tpa, increasing the total capacity to 7,15,000 tpa by 2026. New facilities will have higher automation and safety standards, meeting EU environmental requirements.

The project supports growth and sustainability objectives, with partnership from Jharkhand government and communities. TCIL is a Tata Steel subsidiary and celebrated its centenary in 2020.
