MG Motor India delivered 108 Hector SUVs to ORIX India’s Rent-a-Car division in a single business day. The formal ceremony was held at MG Moti Nagar, New Delhi, with the presence of MG Motor India’s CCO, Gaurav Gupta, and ORIX India’s MD and CEO, Sandeep Gambhir.
Gupta said that MG values its relationships with customers and that the company is grateful to ORIX for choosing the MG Hector for their business. ORIX’s placing of a large single order is a strong validation of their trust and bullishness for the future, said Gambhir. The company recently launched the Next-Gen Hector at the Auto Expo, with a host of new technologies and intuitive features.
The Hector is India’s first Internet SUV, which shaped MG’s philosophy of connected, autonomous, shared, and electric mobility. It offers advanced safety features, striking bold exterior, luxurious interiors, and India’s largest 35.56 cm HD portrait infotainment system. The new SUV is designed to provide a cinematic and immersive experience for users, with handcrafted textures, soft-touch tactile, and versatile ambience on demand.
