Alfa Laval (India) Ltd has opened its new India customer service centre at Kundli, Haryana.
The centre will specialise in plate heat exchanger and high speed separator repair and reconditioning and serve customers from Northern India Region. Maria Rosell, VP, service, Alfa Laval India Region said: “Our ambition is to provide the services needed to ensure high performance and uptime over the entire Alfa Laval equipment’s lifecycle. With a service centre close to northern India industry, Alfa Laval can be trusted for full and timely support.”
At the service centres, highly trained technicians execute advanced tasks that are unsuitable for field service. Customers in the North of India have previously had to send equipment far, either Southwest or Southeast for Alfa Laval repair services.
Peter Norrby, VP process technology division, Alfa Laval AB visited said: “The opening of the new service centre is in line with our ambition to grow the global service business. As this is the third Alfa Laval service centre in India, it underlines the importance of the Indian market for Alfa Laval and is also a clear proof of our commitment to provide our customers in India.”
The starting capacity of the centre is yearly cleaning of 10,000 heat exchanger plates and repair of fifty high speed separators. India is a key market for Alfa Laval.
