Hexagon AB announced a strategic partnership agreement with Cantier Systems Pte. Ltd to combine Hardware, Software and Automation Solutions for better product delivery, marketing and outreach to customers globally. Manufacturers will significantly benefit from enhanced visibility and control over their inventory and manufacturing processes while gaining deeper data-driven insights, traceability and opportunities for continuous innovation by combining Cantier’s and Hexagon’s digital solutions.
Cantier Software provides Industry 4.0 smart factory solutions, which is configurable and scalable manufacturing software that helps automate shop floor activities with real-time quality information, OEE, planned versus actual, finished goods, inventory, and other key manufacturing KPIs.
The regional partnership will enable Hexagon and Cantier Systems to deliver Cantier MES 4.0 to Hexagon manufacturing customers, helping them take control of the plant floor through complete visibility and connectivity and realise the promise of Industry 4.0. More connected, data-driven approaches to manufacturing are central to bringing better products to market faster and more cost-effectively with confidence.
Speaking on the strategic alliance, Sridhar Dharmarajan, Executive Vice President & Managing Director-Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, India and MSC Software, Indo-Pacific, said that using Cantier’s state-of-the-art MES 4.0 (Manufacturing Execution System) with integrated quality control, Hexagon customers will be able to improve their workflows by streaming quality measurements, engineering data and other manufacturing information into Cantier’s MES, creating a digital system of record in real-time.
