European Ceramic Technology Suppliers (ECTS), in cooperation with the VDMA office (German Engineering Federation), recently organised the ECTS Symposium. The delegation consisting of around 13 companies from Europe visited India. This seminar titled “Toward an energy efficient production of high quality bricks & tiles in India: solution providers meet the West Bengal heavy clay community” took place in Kolkata. The ECTS delegation presented to the brick-making industry primarily from West Bengal, Jharkhand, neighbouring states in eastern and north eastern region and Bangladesh, technical solutions for an energy efficient production of highquality bricks and tiles. Around 130 participants attended the prestigious event.
