The most certain thing about this pandemic is possibly the uncertainty. For several months since the virus was first reported in late December 2019, the world has gone through so much – economically, socially, and emotionally. And, as we began to think that the beginning of the end of the pandemic was in sight, the omicron variant of COVID hit us, putting a brake to the unlocking process of the economy that the government had initiated last year following a fall in numbers. This tells us how uncertain the times we are all living in are. But, we as humans thrive on optimism.
Thankfully, the pace at which COVID cases had been increasing was largely contained, and things are looking in control as I write this.
While the fluctuating COVID cases continue to keep the overall situation fluid, the industry has been highly agile, resilient and forward-looking.
It has been our endeavour to bring forth the stories of inspiring industry leaders who are setting examples for their peers in these testing times.
It gives me immense joy to share that Manufacturing Today turns 11 this month. As the world embraces the newest technology, we have also evolved over the years. We have been among the firsts to experiment with new ways of storytelling with compelling digital content.
As we move forward, you will get to see more of those efforts taking shape in the form of more easy-to-consume information, news, and knowledge-based content on our various digital platforms.
So, stay tuned for more power-packed actions and forums on ground as well as on digital platforms.
I conclude here with a great saying from Scottish-American naturalist John Muir: “The power of imagination makes us infinite.”
Stay inspired!
