Mahindra Electric partners with Dassault Systemes over e-mobility

Mahindra Electric has announced that it is using Dassault Systemes’ Simulia range of applications for all its existing electric vehicles to perform thermal and structural simulation of critical parts like battery enclosures, battery management system during the design stage.

With the usage of this simulation system, Mahindra Electric has been able to reduce the design cycle time. It also claims that the system helps the company in identifying and mitigating risks at an early stage, reducing physical testing and prototyping.

Mahesh Babu, CEO, Mahindra Electric Mobility, said, “Electric vehicles are now mainstream, from two-wheelers, three-wheelers, cars, commercial vehicles the electric mobility revolution has received a significant push and the industry is poised for big growth.
