C.R.I. Pumps wins the prestigious National Energy Conservation (NEC) Award 2017 from the Government of India

C.R.I. Pumps has once again proved that it is undoubtedly a leader in manufacturing energy efficient pump-sets, by winning the National Energy Conservation (NEC) Award 2017. C.R.I. is the only company to win this award in the overall pump category.
The National Energy Conservation Day is celebrated on 14th December every year by the BEE. To commemorate and celebrate this day, the National Energy Conservation Award is given by The Ministry of Power, Government of India, and the products eligible for the same are BEE 5-star labelled appliances with more energy efficiency. C.R.I. has won the NEC award for the third time.

The Honourable President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, and the Honourable Minister of State (I/C) for Power and New & Renewable Energy, Raj Kumar Singh, graced the occasion. Receiving this award, G Selvaraj, joint MD, C.R.I. Group, said, “It is with immense pride that C.R.I. adds another feather to its cap of achievements. All through the years, C.R.I. has endeavoured to offer energy-efficient pump sets through innovative design and technology. This in turn greatly benefits the customer, environment, society and the nation at large. C.R.I. would tirelessly continue on its mission to conserve a very scare natural resource. C.R.I. is said to be the only company in India to manufacture the most number of BEE 5-star labelled pump-sets. C.R.I.’s energy-efficient products are well recognised by the Government of India as trustworthy products to replace pump-sets for various projects across the country in order to save energy. Until now, in India, C.R.I. has installed over seven lakh star-rated pump-sets in various states, which results in cumulative savings of more than 5,000 million units of power.

C.R.I.’s state-of-the-art R&D wing has more than 125 engineers, and is facilitated with the latest design tools, software, and state-of-the-art prototyping & testing facilities. It is recognised by the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.
